The Street Room Purple is a human scale urban landmark that redefines communal public furniture with its elevated platform serving as a large, multipurpose seating area. Designed for pedestrians to utilize from all angles, it offers ample space for seating and relaxation.
At the center of the platform hangs a swing suspended from a striking arch, providing a playful seating feature as well as a captivating landmark. With its remarkable shape and patterns, the minimalist arch becomes a human-scale focal point, drawing attention and inviting interaction.
Accessible to all pedestrians, the Street Room Purple provides partial sun shading along with offering various amenities similar to an outdoor living room. These include lighting fixtures, charging spots, tree pots, suspended seating, and a horizontal platform for social gatherings.

Ideal for pedestrian paths and commercial areas, it serves as an urban attractor, increasing foot traffic and enhancing the success of commercial activities.
Constructed with stainless steel frames and finished with stainless steel sheets coated with fluorocarbon paint, the Street Room Purple features wood surfaces for horizontal platforms and seating elements. Additionally, some features and equipment on top are crafted with fiberglass for added durability. With a maximum height of 6310 mm, this installation offers flexibility for customization, allowing for tailored colors, play features, and details to suit client preferences and site conditions.
In today’s urban environments, the provision of collective areas in public spaces plays a role in fostering social cohesion and community engagement. The Street Room Purple exemplifies this by offering a multifunctional gathering space where people can come together, interact, and forge connections. Collective areas like this encourage spontaneous interactions among diverse groups, breaking down social barriers and promoting a sense of belonging within the community. The Street Room Welcome is a striking horizontal platform designed to foster social interaction and community engagement in the public realm. Crafted as a sculptural and eye-catching urban artifact, this pop-art typology of street furniture reimagines outdoor seating with a vibrant twist.
The design comprises a single-piece horizontal platform, strategically perforated to facilitate seating and table arrangements, complemented by integrated lamps and greenery. Users are encouraged to engage with the space by sitting along the perimeter, within the perforations, reclining horizontally, or simply standing atop. Furthermore, the platform is topped with shading structures, housing charging spots and an interactive screen for information.
The Street Room aims to emulate the sense of community and shared spaces found indoors, bringing this dynamic spirit to the outdoor realm. Serving as an urban attractor, it enlivens pedestrian thoroughfares and welcomes all to contribute in its vibrant atmosphere.
