The Slide Ring is an integral part of the Play Rings series developed by our office, following an extensive research and development process aimed at creating playful environments for users of all ages and stages of physical and mental development. These rings are designed to foster playful learning in a safe yet challenging environment, nurturing the development of physical, social, communicative, and collaborative skills.
 
“Playful learning” is central to our approach, encompassing both supervised and unsupervised play in dedicated environments. This type of learning is highly effective, fostering low-anxiety environments that encourage active engagement and novel experiences, facilitating peer and adult interactions in an entertaining manner. From a neuroscience perspective, playful learning enhances children’s cognitive skills by leveraging previous experiences and promoting the development of interconnected brain processes. To maximize learning outcomes, playful learning environments must embody characteristics such as joyfulness, meaningfulness, active engagement and social interaction.
 
The Slide Ring has been conceived as an exhilarating playground environment for individuals aged 6 to 24+. Unlike other rings, it caters to a diverse range of ages, featuring slides of varying heights and difficulties suitable for different age groups. From simple slides for young children to complex structures for teenagers and adventurous young adults, the Slide Ring offers an activity for everyone.

It is a space where people of all ages can play together, fostering valuable family interactions. To enhance comfort, we’ve incorporated lounge areas protected by umbrellas, providing shaded spaces for relaxation and socialization. The Slide Ring comprises six different slides of varying heights and difficulties. The easiest slide is designed for small children, featuring only a few steps to reach the top before sliding down on a tilted surface. In contrast, the most advanced slide boasts a three-level maze structure, ensuring a safe ascent with secured climbing areas equipped with mesh and soft surfaces.
 
The main structure is built with stainless steel frames and finished with fluorocarbon-painted steel sheets, ensuring durability and safety. Some features and equipment are crafted with fiberglass, and the Slide Ring reaches a maximum height of 6120 mm. Customization options for colors, play features, and details are available to meet client needs and site conditions, with modifications made upon request.
 
Moreover, the Slide Ring serves as a space for inclusive play, where individuals of varying abilities can engage in activities together. By providing slides of different difficulties, it ensures that everyone can participate and enjoy the experience. This inclusivity fosters a sense of belonging and unity within the community, promoting positive social interactions and mutual support among users.
