Toddler’s ring
The Toddlers’ Ring is specifically designed for children aged 3 to 6 years old as part of the Fun Rings series within the Play Rings collection. Developed through extensive research and prototyping, the Fun Rings aim to create playful learning environments that foster physical, social, communicative, and collaborative skills in children.
“Playful learning” is central to our approach, encompassing both supervised and unsupervised play in dedicated environments. This type of learning is highly effective, fostering low-anxiety environments that encourage active engagement and novel experiences, facilitating peer and adult interactions in an entertaining manner. From a neuroscience perspective, playful learning enhances children’s cognitive skills by leveraging previous experiences and promoting the development of interconnected brain processes. To maximize learning outcomes, playful learning environments must embody characteristics such as joyfulness, meaningfulness, active engagement and social interaction.
Designed to cater to the developmental needs of toddlers, also known as ‘the little sketches,’ the Toddlers’ Ring offers a sensory-rich experience essential for their growth. Featuring motor skill-enhancing elements such as xylophones and tunnels, as well as various swings including a double swing for parent-child interaction and a slow swing for group play, the ring provides a safe yet stimulating environment for young learners.
Constructed with stainless steel frames and finished with high-quality materials, including fluorocarbon-painted steel sheets and fiberglass components, the Toddlers’ Ring ensures durability and safety. Standing at a maximum height of 3 meters, it incorporates low difficulty and safe play equipment such as bouncing horses, up-and-down features, swings, and a secure slide.
In addition to play equipment, the Toddlers’ Ring includes seating arrangements with shading umbrellas for parents to supervise their children comfortably. Customization options for colors, play features, and details are available to meet client preferences and site requirements, with modifications made upon request.
The Toddlers’ Ring exemplifies the philosophy of playful learning, which is an approach to education encompassing both guided and unsupervised play. By creating an environment that promotes active engagement and new experiences while minimizing anxiety, children are given the opportunity to learn and develop social and cognitive skills in a natural and enjoyable manner. With its carefully designed features and emphasis on sensory exploration, the Toddlers’ Ring serves as a nurturing space where young children can thrive and learn through play.
