Triple Blooming
The Cheesy Bench is a lounge space partially covered by a big shading feature, sheltering the space below from rain and the excess sun. Since it is basically a piece of urban furniture, it is suitable for users of all ages and types.
It is a piece of public furniture inspired by the geometry of cheese, with its holes and bitten borders, which are specially located in order to accommodate gatherings.
The Cheesy Spot is equipped with a wooden surface made out of wood planks which can act as a massive bench to lie on top in any position. It also has armrest tables in its perimeter and one big table for bigger gatherings.
The main inner structure is stainless steel frames and the finishing material is made with stainless steel sheets with a layer of fluorocarbon paint. Also, all the horizontal surfaces and seating features are done with wood planks.
Some of the features and equipment on top, such as the tables, are done with fiberglass.
The cheesy bench reaches a maximum height of 4,5 m.
The main rounded bench has a height of 450mm slab where all the components, seats, and main column supporting the shading structure, are installed upon. Additionally, equipped with an LED stripe in its perimeter.
The colors, lighting and details of this project can be customized depending on the needs of the client and conditions of the site. The modifications will be done upon request.
